History
QP International was established in September 2005 as a joint venture company between:
- Al Qudra Holding, a local company of Abu Dhabi venturing into various industries
like real estate development, industrial applications, infrastructure, healthcare,
education, transportation and more; and
- 3D/I, an American architectural and project management company based in Houston
Texas providing management, assessment, design, construction and information
technology; and
- Projacs (Project Analysis and Control Systems International), a Bahrain based
project management and training company that has been operating in the Middle East
and North Africa Region since 1984.
The original name of the company was registered as "3D/I+PI”; representative of the two technical arms of the joint venture.

In early 2006, 3D/I in the USA was acquired by the Parsons Corporation and the company name was changed to QP international whereby the "Q” was representative of the Al Qudra Holding partner and the "P” was representative of the Parsons and Projacs partners. It was agreed by the partners that the two "P”s would be combined in the naming.
In mid-2006, Al Qudra Holding and Projacs acquired the Parsons shares and the company was re-registered under the name of the remaining partners.
From 2005 onwards, QPI quickly grew and presently has over 160 employees under its umbrella. Late last year the office was moved from the original 3DI+PI office in Salam Street to our new premises in the Defense road area.
QP International has accomplished much in its short history. From what started as humble beginnings in Abu Dhabi, the company now helps clients to manage billions of dollars of development in the region. QPI now has project assignments in Qatar, Algeria, Belarus, Pakistan, Syria and Yemen.

Similarly, our original single client has grown to many, including Sorouh Real Estate whom we are currently assisting with the most prestigious project in their portfolio, being the $4 Billion Shams Abu Dhabi Project.
QP International is also continuing to mature as a company whereby formalized Business Development, Finance, Contracts, Information Technology, Human Resources and Project Operations Departments have been established. A culmination of some of its achievements was realized at the end of 2007 when QPI received its International Standard Organization certificate for ISO 9001: 2000 from Lloyd’s Register.
QP International thrives to become a leading Construction / Project Management and Training firm in the Middle East emphasizing quality of service to its clients through the application of state-of-the-art project management control systems and procedures. While QP International is broadening its market, client satisfaction will always be the basis for its success.
